Project requirements

Britax came to Flying Bridge to address the fact that they had not set any guidelines for how to present the brand online. As a result, each individual country had created a unique online identity with no consistency from one site to the next. This caused the brand to be diluted and the global offices asked Flying Bridge to replicate their work on the USA website and create standards and a uniform design that would fit across all countries. Along with these country specific websites we developed interactive flash maps on britax.com and britax.eu to provide users with a complete index of the company’s online presence.

Project solutions

The next phase of the harmonization project focused on building a comprehensive database design and custom global content management system accessible from each country. The global redesign has a heavy focus on SEO best practices and allows site administrators to continue those practices beyond FBT’s involvement. The Flying Bridge CMS offers the ability for the Global offices to oversee all content changes and delegate control of various websites and even sections within a website to their country based teams. Britax now has complete control over such things as dynamic content page URLs, titles, keywords, meta data, etc.
