SunDrop is a citrus soda that is popular in the south and other areas of the United States. SunDrop needed a unique website that would allow visitors to navigate easily and securely purchase SunDrop flavors and merchandise. The website needed to appeal to the brand’s enthusiastic fan base, but service a specific subset of the audience; the consumers who could not get the beverage in their area. Flying Bridge designed a fun and attractive site full of images that is designed with strategies to keep customers coming back. Purchases are rewarded with SunDrop points, redeemable towards merchandise and more SunDrop. Flying Bridge also developed an easy method for customers to send SunDrop to US military serving overseas.
Connecting with SunDrop fans was a priority so Flying Bridge established a Twitter account and Facebook fan page early on. Both of those interaction points funnel customers down to the website. To support this connection, Flying Bridge integrated a SunDrop blog into the website. It runs on a separate platform but it is so well integrated into the website’s template it is difficult to tell.Search engine optimization has been an integral part of the website’s development from the beginning and will continue to be as the site starts to gain authority and move up the organic search results. Universal search is a big part of the project’s SEO strategy.
